January Birthdays

Each month we post the names of our Senior parishioners who are celebrating birthdays. To participate in this ministry of hospitality, sign a birthday card and on the envelope list the name of the recipient. Place it in the collection basket or drop it off at the parish office and they will be delivered at the end of each month. Immaculata Award

The Immaculata Medallion is an award recognizing and honoring lay people who generously and unselfishly volunteer time and service to their parish. The recipient of this year’s Immaculata Award is Rick Fiori. He will receive his award at a Vesper Service on Sunday, December 9 at 2:30 pm at the Cathedral of the immaculate Conception in Syracuse. Christmas Giving Tree

Tags from the Christmas Giving Tree program for Church of the Holy Family will be available on the tree in the church hall and the small trees in the vestibule. If at all possible, please return your gifts at weekend masses by December 9 to allow our recipient organizations extra time to sort and distribute them. Safe Environment Poster Contest

The Diocese of Syracuse will be celebrating Safe Environment Week November 12-20. This specially designated week is to acknowledge and thank the thousands of people across the diocese who create and maintain safe environments to protect God’s gifts: our children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Garden Ministry Poinsettia & Wreath Orders

Nanticoke Gardens has suggested plants for us in a 6 1/2″ pot, as they are considered a “premium” plant and will surpass the quality of any others found locally. These plants have a minimum of 5 blooms. All poinsettias come with a decorative foil sleeve. We are also offering hand-made Fraser Fir Decorated Wreaths in two sizes – 18 and 24 inches. All Souls Remembrance Liturgies

At our weekend liturgies on November 3/4 we will be remembering all those who have died since November 2017. Before the end of October, we ask that you loan us a framed photograph (please include name) of your loved one. Photos may be dropped off at the parish office. All photos will be displayed for the month of November. The deceased will be remembered in prayer by our parish community.
