Haiti Project Update

Two wells have now been completed in Fond des Blancs, Haiti with funds from Church of the Holy Family.  The first well supplies water to the clinic site and the second well supplies water to St. Andre’s School.  Sufficient money was available to install electric pumps so more people could be served.  We are considering a third well site, as well as additional supplies for the school.

The weekend of July 23rd & 24th there will be a special appeal for the Lusubilo Bursary Program.  Lusubilo has been assisting 440 orphans with fees to attend high school.  This was possible through help received from PACT.  That donor is now pulling off its projects in Malawi.  Peter Daino will be asking the parishioners of Church of the Holy Family to consider donating $60 to help an orphan through one  year of high school.  If this is not possible,…

Knitting Beds

This past week, a group of ladies from two local churches came to Whitney Place to share their ministry – a true labor of love.
