March for Life Cancelled

Due to the surge of COVID cases, government restrictions in Washington, D.C. and the cancellation of the Youth Rally in Arlington, the Diocese of Syracuse has made the difficult decision to cancel our participation in the March for Life this year.  We will be celebrating a Mass and Holy Hour for Life with Bishop Lucia at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 10:00am on January 22nd.  Please see the attached flier and more details will follow. 2022 Flyer Mass and Holy Hour…

Holy Happy Hour Canceled

Bishop Lucia feels it is in our best  interest to postpone parish social gatherings at this time.  We will not be having Happy Holy Hour this Saturday, January 8th.

Masses Cancelled

Masses are cancelled for Tuesday, December 21st and Wednesday, December 22nd due to funerals.

Safe Environment Volunteer Suspension Policy

Effective January 1, 2022, any volunteer whose credentials expired prior to December 31, 2021, who has not completed the Safe Environment recertification requirement will be suspended indefinitely until the completion of the Safe Environment re-credentialing process. Suspended volunteers are prohibited from volunteering in any program or ministry that places them in regular contact with children, youth, and/or vulnerable adults under the auspices of the diocese, its schools, parishes, or ministries. Mask Mandate

New York State has instituted a mask mandate for all indoor, public places effective December 13th – January 15th.  Bishop Lucia expects that all parishes in the Diocese of Syracuse will cooperate and comply with the mask mandate.
