Christmas Giving Tree

Christmas Giving Tree

Tags from the Christmas Giving Tree program for Church of the Holy Family are now available on the full tree in the church hall and the small trees in the vestibule. If at all possible, please return your gifts at weekend masses between December 5 & 13 to allow our recipient organizations extra time to sort and distribute them. All gifts, however, must be returned by 12PM (noon) on Sunday, December 13. This program supports these four organizations:

  • Mom’s House – with a clothing fit for each child in the program.
  • The Jail Ministry – with clothing, personal care products, puzzle books, and cards
  • Birthright – with clothing and bedding for newborns
  • Catholic Charities – with financial donations for those in need to purchase clothing items

Please attach the original tags to the outside of your gift. Do not wrap gifts except those for Mom’s House. These tags will state, “please wrap this gift.” Gift cards for Catholic Charities are to be returned in a separate collection at Mass.

In addition to the Giving Tree, we are again soliciting blankets for Birthright. Continuing a tradition at Church of the Holy Family, we are asking parishioners to provide receiving blankets for Birthright in memory of deceased members of our Human Development Ministry. Such extra generosity provides a beautiful, living tribute and shows our continued support of the choice of life.

On the weekends of December 5 & 6 and 12 & 13, the second collection will be for monetary gift cards from Target, Walmart, and Old Navy.
