Lenten Fish Dinners a Success!


The Fish Dinners were a huge success! We served a total of 6,497 dinners during the 6 Fridays of Lent. That is 799 more dinners then last year and 1,760 more then 2011.


Just how much food does it take to serve that many meals? Here are just a few of the totals:

Haddock           3,330 lbs.

Shrimp 468 lbs.

Cheese 780 lbs.

Mini-Penne Pasta 560 lbs.

Butter 500 lbs.

Applesauce 1,680 lbs.

Coleslaw Vegetables 1,400 lbs.

Bread Crumbs 425 lbs.

Fry Oil 945 lbs.

Tartar Sauce 60 Gallons

Cocktail Sauce 24 Gallons
